As the new Dean of Guildford, it is both an honour and a privilege to welcome you into this sacred space. This Cathedral is not just a building; it is a living, breathing community where all are invited to worship, to reflect, and to grow in faith. No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcomed here with open arms and hearts.

We believe that our strength lies in our welcome to all, and our unity is found in our shared commitment to love, justice, and peace. As we come together in worship, may we be inspired by the rich history and traditions that have shaped this Cathedral, and may we continue to build a future where all are included, valued, and empowered.

Together, we will pray, serve, and seek to be instruments of healing and hope in the world around us. May this Cathedral be a place of solace for the weary, a source of joy for the faithful, and a beacon of light for all who seek refuge.
