I'm saddened to hear of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II. May she rest in peace as we thank her for her amazing 70 years of service. There shall never be another monarch in our lifetime that will reign for as long and I'm grateful to have been able to experience her Christmas speeches every year and her love for this country.

To Her Majesty, The Queen, thank you for making Filipinos part of the UK community. Thank you for being such a strong and unifying force in the world. I wish I went to Ascot during the race course just to see you. I have been in the UK for two decades now, and one of my bucket list was to see you. I have lost my parents very recently, both passed no less than three months apart and I am still broken hearted. Rest easy now, our Queen. Thank you.

The Queen Elizabeth II. The end of the Reign of Elizabeth II. A Queen with a steadfast sense of duty. It’s truly a moment of great solemnity. In these incredibly changing times, we thank God for her long reign, a Queen who many saw as a symbol of stability in a polarised society. May we remember Her sense of service & loyalty - a Queen who described herself as ‘driven by duty and sustained by faith’ - Christian Faith. ‘John 11: 25 - 26.’
Benjamin Nderitu Mwangi from Nakuru, Kenya
Queen Elizabeth II was a profound leader who have succeeded in uniting commonwealth countries. As a kenyan, I remember Queen Elizabeth II because she arrived in my country as a princess and left as a queen in 1952, following the passing away of King George. Also, being a Chevening alumni, I am a direct beneficiary of her majersties continued support for developing countries. May she rest in eternal peace
