Do you want the opportunity to abseil down the Cathedral Tower?

If the answer is yes, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for brave volunteers to abseil for us. We ask that each volunteer aims to raise £350, but please don’t let this amount put you off for signing up. We will help spread the word to our supporters too.

We have held a number of abseils over the years, and those who have signed up have loved ^{the experience, and some have even wanted to come back and do it again! Most recently, in 2023 our team had a wonderful time. T}he weather was beautiful – sunny with a slight breeze – and family, friends and supporters came to cheer them on. Some were nervous, some were excited, but they all got to the bottom with a smile on their faces, a sense of achievement at having ‘dared to descend’ for Guildford Cathedral.
