All are welcome to join us for our Free Family Events that run throughout the year.
Cathedral Tots
Our informal service for toddlers and pre-schoolers takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00am. Each session of Cathedral Tots includes toys, songs, a Bible story, prayer, craft and refreshments. Cathedral Tots is a free activity, with a welcoming and relaxed community of parents/carers and young children. There is currently no requirement to book places for these services. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
5th March - God's big story: Walking on water
2nd April - God's big story: Feeding the 5000
Sunday School – normally on the 2nd Sunday of the month in term time (check first)
For ages 3-11, during the Sunday morning Eucharist, in the Library. There is also a self-service creche for younger children in the Baptistry.

Family Fun Day – Wednesday 19 February 10am-12.30pm FULLY BOOKED
Come and explore ‘high and low’ in the Cathedral, enjoy a reflective storytelling session about special places and create your own artwork inspired by what you've seen and heard.

A firm favourite for families, our fun-filled days become fully booked very quickly. In 2024, we welcomed over 550 children to our Fun Days and we’d love to welcome even more in 2025. A donation of just £1.49 will pay for a child's craft bag, £4.50 will cover the costs of a family of three children plus a parent or carer. Just £90 would pay for a whole session of 60 children. When you book your child’s session, please consider making a gift of any size to help us achieve our goal.
