Lay Clerks
The lay clerks consist of 2 Alto, 2 tenor and 2 bass professional singers employed by Guildford Cathedral.
During term time they sing men’s voices Evensong on Mondays; with the boy choristers on Tuesday and Thursday Evensongs and with the Girl Choristers at Friday Evensong.
On Sundays they sing at the Cathedral Eucharist and Choral Evensong with either the boy or girl choristers. In addition they sing at special services, concerts, broadcasts and recordings. They also take part in cathedral choir tours.
