News: New Canons for the Cathedral

The Bishop of Guildford has announced the appointment of six new Honorary Canons, to be installed at Cathedral Evensong on Sunday 21 November 2010 at 6.30pm. They are:

• The Revd Margaret Marsh - Priest in Charge, Walton on the Hill
• The Revd Richard Cook - Vicar, Goldsworth Park and Bishop's Adviser for Inter-Faith Relations
• Canon Robert Cotton - Rector, Holy Trinity and St Mary's, Guildford, Chaplain to Abbotts Hospital, Chair of the House of Clergy, Honorary Canon, The High Veldt, S Africa
• Canon Jeremy Cresswell - Vicar, St Andrew's, Oxshott, Surrogate for Leatherhead Deanery and Honorary Canon, Owerri, Nigeria
• The Revd Nick Aiken - Rector, Wisley with Pyrford
• The Revd Barbara Messham - Vicar, All Saints, Guildford & Rural Dean for Guildford Deanery
